jennyfer star was born may 19th, 1981 on the north side of stockholm, sweden. as a child she would often have shows in the living room, dancing, singing and playing the piano.
but first in her early teens she decided to focus on the music for real. she started playing the guitar and got her first band together. in the beginning it was mostly angry punk tunes that came out from the songwriting, then grunge rock, then industrial rock. it wasn´t until later she discovered the beauty of 80´s rock music.

the first show ever played was back in 1998 with her current band magick psycho shock, which was kinda marilyn manson inspired. the show was in a national music contest called "musik direkt", unfortunately they didn´t get that far in the contest.

after that jennyfer started the project miss cocaine, which was an industrial grunge/glam duo based in both stockholm and helsinki. they recorded a few songs, made it to the states to record some more but it kinda ended up being three party months and going back without any music done. but the most important thing was to make connections and to have alot of fun, and they did both.

leaving miss cocaine was a hard decision, as it always is, but she felt like it was not what she wanted to do anymore.
she joined forces with glampunk band swindle-a-go-go. they were looking for a bass player at the moment and since jennyfer was between bands, she tried out. it ended up being a few years and it was alot of fun, although she was always longing for being the lead singer again.
finally the day came when she realized it´s not gonna happen by itself. so she started writing songs for a new project and starlet suicide was born.

starlet suicide was the band she always dreamed of. good lookin, hungry musicians that lived the life to the extremes 24/7. the band still exists to this date but is on a break, because jennyfer wanted to try her own wings and start a solo project.

the debut EP (self-produced) was released in april 2007
